Hello IAGC advocates for advanced learners! We have an urgent, time-sensitive request. It is the end of the Illinois General Assembly's legislative session and things are moving FAST!

We just learned that SB 3533, with provisions to help Illinois schools better serve twice-exceptional learners, just passed the Senate and has been placed on the agenda for a last-minute House Education Policy Committee hearing TODAY!

IAGC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering educators, families, and communities by advancing effective practices, programs, and policies that support children with gifts, talents, and advanced learning needs across Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader who is committed to advocacy, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact on education statewide.
The Executive Director will play a critical role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction, strengthening partnerships, and amplifying the voice of gifted education. Ideal candidates will bring strong leadership skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in meaningful ways.
