Thanks to grant funding through Colorado Access, SECOR is proud to welcome to the team our new part-time Social Worker, Christina! Christina says, “I am excited to be part of service and look forward to meeting guests where they are.”
Christina will be offering private appointment blocks to our guests in order to provide a listening ear and resource support. Some of the resources she will provide include: government benefit programs (SNAP, WIC, Medicaid/Medicare, disability), mental health referrals, legal clinics, addiction/recovery, senior services, transportation and community programming.
Having Christina as part of the team, allows SECOR to further advance our mission: Caring for people faced with suburban poverty, restoring hope and dignity, and guiding them toward a self-sufficient life!

Alamosa County Fairgrounds in partnership with La Puente's Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley & Dumb Friends League: 8784 Old Sanford Rd., Alamosa on the first Monday of the month from 12-2 PM
Mancos FoodShare: Mount Lookout Grange, 680 Grand Avenue, Mancos on the first Monday of the month from 3-5 PM

UPDATE 1/9: Aurora Interfaith Community Services pet food pantry has been rescheduled to Friday, Jan 10th due to cold and strong winds.

UPDATE: Bruce Randolph School in partnership with We Don't Waste has been canceled due to weather and will not be rescheduled.
