We have a busy week for Rover Rescue.
The first barn sale of the season is currently going on. You still have Saturday and Sunday to check it out. Lots of great stuff! 5401 Rt. 71 in Oswego. We will have adoptable dogs at the sale Sunday. Those will be posted Saturday night.

Saturday June 6th we will be at the Petco in North Aurora from 12-2. Come out and meet: Athena, Brewer, Dori, Wednesday and Zara.

Wednesday June 10th we will be at the St. Charles City Hall from 3-5 for a dog days adoption event. We will post the dogs that will be there closer to the event.

We look forward to seeing everyone!

Two Bostons is holding their annual food drive! They invited Rover Rescue to participate. If a whole case of food is donated Two Boston doubles the amount. The rescue with the most donations at the end will get double the amount of food. You have been very generous with donations in past years! Let’s get some food for our foster dogs! There are 2 ways to donate in store or online. Information can be found below:

IN-STORE DONATIONS:
Supporters can donate at any Two Bostons location during checkout by selecting meals or cases in support of your organization.

HOW ONLINE DONATIONS WORK:
1.) Visit TwoBostons.com/donate
2.) Click your organization’s logo to open your custom donation page
3.) A pop-up will appear asking for a shipping method — either option is completely fine to select as no shipping charges or tax will be added at checkout

• Single Meals
• 12 Meal Cases (remember, Two Bostons will match any full case donation)

DON’T FORGET!!

Barn sale donations are now being accepted!

Have you done spring cleaning and don’t know what to do with those items you no longer use? Rover Rescue can take them off your hands!

We are taking donations at the barn (5401 Rt. 71 in Oswego) on Wednesday nights from 5 to 7 or Sundays 10 till noon or anytime at 326 Sharon Lane in North Aurora (donations can be left in front of the garage, please make sure the weather is nice).

No furniture, car seats, TVs, monitors or anything larger than one person can move themselves.

Rover Rescue's first barn sale of the year is almost here and we need a lot of volunteers to help this sale run smoothly. The sale is 6/5-6/7 from 8-4 on Friday and Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday at 5401 Rt. 71 in Oswego in the big red barn.

Starting Thursday, 6/4, at 10 a.m. we will start set up. We need an unlimited amount of people to help set up on Thursday and we go until we are done. Even if you can give a couple of hours it would be appreciated. Set up entails laying out tarps in the front yard and pulling all the donations that are under all the tables and in the stock area onto the tarps in the yard. We then organize the stuff that is on tables/shelves in the barn. This same thing happens down in the courtyard area behind the barn where we put as much stuff in the courtyard as possible and de-clutter all the tents.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday we need to fill many shifts and we need a minimum of 9 people at each shift. This sale is EXTREMELY busy. Volunteers will do the following:
- Unload boxes (we get donations on sale days)
- As product is sold it empties off the tables and we can empty boxes from the front yard into the main barn
- Help customers load vehicles
- Continually clean up the tables and keep areas organized
- Hang clothes
- Keep all areas stocked

These are the shifts that need to be filled.
- Thursday starting at 10 am - ? to do set up
- Friday and Saturday the shifts are from 7-10:30, 10:30-1:30 and 1:30-4:30
- Sunday from 10-1:30, 1:30-4:30
