The Mohawk Foundation, Inc Charity Group

The Mohawk Foundation, Inc Charity Group The Mohawk Foundation was started by Ryne Hoover and his wife Emily as a means to raise money for charities through Ryne's multisport and running races.

The Mohawk Foundation will use any means necessary to raise funds—esports, online racing, triathlons, running, and more—to make sure breast cancer warriors and survivors keep the lights on, the bills paid, and the fight going! The mission of the group is to raise awareness for charities and make the world an overall better place for everyone, all while our members get fit and improve themselves. T

2,300 miles. 4 days. One goal: Monterey. 🏁🚛

We have officially reached the staging area at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca! The final 350-mile push today was a beauty—clear skies and cool Pacific air all the way to the coast.

Before the real work starts, I took a detour to explore the famous Fisherman’s Wharf and grabbed a solid dinner at The Crown & Anchor with the team. 👑 ⚓️

It’s been a massive journey, but having the truck in line at the track makes every single mile worth it.

This is what it's all about—living the dream and getting the job done for the team. Load-in starts tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM.

See you at the Corkscrew! 🏎️💨

Day 3 is a wrap! Another 690 miles of progress as we pushed through New Mexico, Arizona, and finally hit the California state line. 🏁☀️

The stretch through the desert is always a highlight of this trek. The landscape shifts so quickly, and the Mack handled the elevation changes like a total pro. Cappy’s been taking it all in from the dash, keeping me company through some of the longest stretches of the year. 🐹🗺️

After two days of collecting every bug in the Southwest, I couldn't stand it anymore—the rig got a much-needed deep clean today. If you’re going to work for a professional race team, you’ve gotta show up looking the part. 🧼✨

We’re parked for the night in the high desert. Tomorrow, we finish the job and head for the Monterey coast. The dream is only a few hundred miles away. 🏎️💨

Day 1: 690 miles of pavement, one iconic arch, and zero complaints. 🏁

The journey to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is officially in full swing. We made it through Missouri and into the heart of the Plains today. The weather was perfect for catching some of those majestic views you only get when you’re living life through a windshield.

Cappy is proving to be an excellent co-driver, though he’s a bit quiet on the radio. 🐹📻 We’re parked for the night under Oklahoma skies, resting up before we chase the sun even further West tomorrow.

The dream is still very much alive—one mile at a time. 🛠️🏎️

There’s a specific kind of rhythm to the "Road Warrior" lifestyle in the racing industry. It’s long hours and a lot of caffeine, but it’s all part of living the lifelong dream of working for a race team.

I’ve got my trusty traveling companion Cappy—sent along by my kids—to make sure I stay on the right path across the country. We’re keeping the exact coordinates vague for now, but the Pacific coast is calling. 🌊🏁

See you in Monterey!

Another long day of driving is in the books! Rolled west on I-10 from Las Cruces to Palm Springs and couldn’t have asked for better weather.

Plenty to take in along the way — desert mountains, wide-open skies, and enough wind and solar to power half the country once you hit California!

The truck’s parked back at the shop, everything’s squared away, and I’m ready to fly home. It’s been a great trip from start to finish, and not a bad office view the past couple of days either!

Day one of the trip back to the teams home base is in the books! Covered a lot of miles and plenty of scenery along the way.

Capy enjoyed the views but wasn’t too thrilled about the triple-digit temps we rolled through in Texas. 🥵

Early start today to finish the haul — then it’s time to prep for whatever’s next.

Well, that one hurts.

We crossed the line P1 in Pro-Am today in Race 2 at Circuit of The Americas — but after more than 3 hours in tech, one front trailing arm was found to be 2mm too short. That’s about 1.5 turns on a fitting, and it cost us the win.

Still, I’m proud of the drive and everything we accomplished this weekend. Great group of people, fast car, and an awesome learning experience working with a new team and series. That’s racing — sometimes you’re on the top step, and sometimes you get reminded how fine the margins really are.

Got to catch some of F1 FP1 and Sprint Qualifying too — it's amazing to watch those cars fly.

Early start tomorrow with qualifying at 9:45 and Race 1 at 2:40. Let’s keep it rolling! 🏁🔥

Not a ton of work for me today, so I finally got to do something I’ve always wanted — my first ever track walk!

Got to see Circuit of The Americas up close, and it’s wild how steep Turn 1 really is when you’re standing on it. TV doesn’t even come close. Lots of people out running, cycling, and walking the circuit, just soaking up the calm before race weekend really gets rolling.

I ended up walking about 5.5 miles total today between the track and running around the paddock — not bad for a “slow” day at work. 😅
