Just an FYI from one on my customer, who’s been wrenching for 45 yrs.

On freezing mornings.., don’t put an immediate strain on your battery and try to turn your engine over.

Turn your headlights on for 10-15 seconds.., turn lights off and turn your car on.., it will save your battery.

Per Republic Service, "We have suspended all residential routes today (3/16) due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions. We anticipate resuming regular routes on Wednesday, 3/17 conditions permitting. Monday (3/15) and Tuesday (3/16) routes will be collected at double volume next week."

Unfortunately, trash will not be picked up this week. no word on what that means for recycling.

Christmas Eve Luminaries

This year we ask you to join your neighbors in lighting luminaries on Christmas Eve. Luminaries are candles in brown paper bags. 10 bags with lights per house will be provided by the neighborhood. Please help distribute bags to your friends and neighbors. You can pick up bags at Selfies with Santa Dec 12th, Saturday Dec 19th from 3-4 pm, or Tuesday Dec 22nd from 10-11am at the clubhouse. Then please light your bags at 5pm Christmas Eve and take a walk around the neighborhood to enjoy the lights everyone has put up this year. If you will not be home or cannot light them yourself, we would love you help you, or ask a neighbor. Our goal is for every house to have some lights to light up the neighborhood and spread joy.
