Nana Pepesch and her coworkers celebrated Nana 60 years of service at Eaton Corporation in Lincoln, IL. after her shift ended this past Friday.

Directing Business Representative Mark Grasseschi was in attendance congratulating Nana and wishing her many more years. Nana has been a proud Union member and Eaton employee. It was nice to see the support of Nana family and coworkers that attended the event celebrating her special day.

Business representative Steve Steif presented Aubrie Lucka with a 2026 IAM Scholarship for continued education after high school. The IAM scholarship assists with tuition costs for up to four years of schooling until the requirements of a bachelor's degree are met.

Aubrie was selected from over 250 applicants from the United States and Canada.

Her father Daniel works at Altorfer in Valparaiso, Indiana. Aubrie’s mother, Renae and brother were also in attendance.

Earlier this week, Mechanics' Local 701 Business Representative Joel Smith stopped in at Groot Industries to deliver the diploma that was earned by Fernando Corona. Fernando is a graduate of our Diesel Power & Equipment program but was unfortunately unable to attend our May 3rd celebration due to other obligations. Congratulations Fernando!

HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE

This Saturday, May 9, the National Association of Letter Carriers will hold their Annual “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive.

We encourage you to join us and leave non-perishable food items (canned meat, canned fruit, etc.) next to your mailbox this Saturday.

Food that is collected will be distributed to several food pantries in the Chicagoland area.
