The 2027 IAM Scholarship Competition opened on Oct. 1, 2026 and will be accepting applications through Feb. 5, 2027. Entries are accepted online. The competition is open to members of the IAM with two years of continuous service and their children who are current high school seniors throughout the United States and Canada.

Local 701 Steward Training Continues

Newly appointed Local 701 Stewards attended the IAM Steward Training course Friday at the Local 701 Business Office in Bloomington. The class was presented by Richard Dees from the IAM Winpisinger Education & Technology Center in Maryland.
Stewards from a variety of industries were in attendance.
