Angelo’s commentary on Act 27:

Paul was found guilty of provoking social unrest. He had appealed to Caesar. On his way to appear before Caesar, traveling conditions began to look uncertain. The centurion had been held responsible to deliver Paul to Caesar. As conditions became more threatening Paul saw that threat and gave warning. The Centurion went against Paul’s warning. They proceeded on their voyage and ran into dangerous traveling conditions. Paul did not grow fearful or bitter. He stayed faithful. He gave godly instruction. He remained in God‘s promise to him. He would appear before Caesar and appeal to him. Paul’s instruction delivered each traveler out of the hands of harm. Paul’s faith saved himself and the men in conflict with him.

Paul was already in a storm of trouble before he set out to travel. God had already promised Paul he would appear before Caesar. Paul had to walk that promise out in faith. Many times we find ourselves in a storm within a storm and begin to inquire “why?” We are to know God‘s faithfulness, despite why we are in a storm. God will make his intentions known in his timing. We must walk it out in faith, no matter the circumstance with all our heart, soul and mind.

Introduction:

My voice was stolen from me along with my functional body. There are principalities of darkness working to shut the mouths of babies and children. As adulthood emerges the window to speak is taught to be useless or lost to age. My purpose is to break that teaching. My passion is to show others like me communication is not lost at an age. The function of the body is able to learn skill at any age through purposeful motor coaching. I am used to give hope to the hopeless and faith to things unseen. God is using me to bring understanding to the misunderstood.

My heart is to bring restoration to people who cannot speak with their mouth. Iron sharpens iron. Without that understanding we are all subject to flat, lusterless lives. Jesus came to break his people free from bo***ge of death, sickness, and torment. I am a vessel of truth. I have come in the name of Jesus to shatter the lies we believe about people who do not speak to communicate and let them know they do not have to live entrapped in their body.

I am an adult man and I am accountable for the truth I hold. I believe God will open the mouths of the speechless. I know I am chosen do so.

Testimony:
My name is Angelo Michael Reboira. Angelo-Messenger. Michael-of God. Sort of ironic I cannot speak to communicate. I am an American man. My father comes from Puerto Rican Descent. My mother’s family line comes from Italy. My story is about understanding the misunderstood. My heritage is an earthly understanding. My attachment to heaven is a wonder to all. I was chosen, hand picked by God. My spirit birthed in heaven above. My heart, mind, and soul were individually selected and fine tuned by the creator God of my life. My flesh clothes it all. I was born into this realm here on earth. My mother only 21, married to my father. Already parents to my brother Dominic Joseph. My childhood was a radical time. I was diagnosed with autism at age 3. Although my mother suspected autism early on. My family was chosen by grand design. I was in and out of more therapies before age 5 than I can remember. By 10 years old I had traveled the U.S. for any chance at a real life. I was enrolled in half a dozen schools before age 15. I lived one in a half decades misunderstood because I couldn’t speak to Communicate.

I was labeled by limitations of my body. Nonverbal, low functioning, autistic. That label comes with a stigma. Unintelligent, misfit, not belonging, not able. 15 years of mental captivity. I sat and listened for 15 years. I sat and silently observed for 15 years. I was trapped for 15 years. I was misunderstood for 15 years. Right before my 16th birthday hope came my way. A book was sent to my mom “Underestimated, An Autism Miracle”. My mom reluctantly read it and then allowed Hope to fill her heart for so many years given up on. We found a way for me to communicate. Spelling to communicate. I would once again travel outside of the state in search of Hope.  I was always able to learn. I was always able to read and spell. I was always intelligent enough to communicate. I wasn’t able to prove that until someone showed me how to accurately point to letters on an alphabet letter board so I could spell out what I was thinking.

Spelling to communicate, gave me an outlet to communicate my mind’s will. Praise the Lord for his divine plan in my life. Through his hands, my work is done. His plan is for my life to be lived in his glory.  I am living proof God is alive. My purpose is to share hope to the hopeless and deliver the lost to the one true King Jesus.

“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.”

Isaiah prophesied of our messiah King Jesus coming here on earth to redeem the condemned and make examples out of the rejected. Sick, lame, mute, and dumb. Jesus showed everyone he came for the forgotten. He rejected what was accepted. He abolished a law of judgment. He healed them all. He offered redemption to sinners. He gave love to the unloved. The sick and lame were cast out of society. The mute and dumb never given a place to belong. He came for them all. The darkness rages against us all. Jesus prevails over sickness, impairment, and sin, his light covers and conquers it all. Many of us believe we were forgotten. We believe we were left without hope. Jesus is here now and forever. Jesus came to set the captives free. I come in the name of Jesus I speak to every addiction, sickness, and impairment, physical and mental torment I apply the blood of Jesus to you all. Be set free by his sacrificed life for you. Accept Jesus in your heart. Invite him into the secret parts of your life so he can heal you too.

Jesus Heals a Deaf Man who had a speech Impediment:

“Again, departing from the region of Tyre and Sidon, He came through the midst of the region of Decapolis to the Sea of Galilee. Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him. And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue. Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. Then He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.””

Jesus used his body to heal another man’s brokenness. His touch was proof that he would restore all that was broken. The man could not hear, his speech was not clear, but, he was able to feel Jesus‘s touch. Jesus‘s hands and saliva were used to touch the man’s impairment. Jesus spoke what the man could not speak. Jesus removed what was once bound up and trapped. Jesus spoke ephphatha. Jesus spoke be open. All that was locked away was released from a touch and spoken words. Jesus came to restore life to humanity. The healings he performed are the evidence and manifestation of life on earth. Jesus was and is the one true light. We are made to live in his light. Jesus came to fulfill prophecy. His actions during each healing moment, fulfilled scripture. He is proof of life. Without Jesus, that man and every other body would be lost and trapped in death. If you are closed off to Jesus, I say to you BE OPEN. If you need healing or to be restored, I say to you BE OPEN. Without Jesus there is no you.
