During this meeting:

The Nominating Committee will present its report to the General Membership, announcing the slate of candidates.

Additional nominations may be made from the floor.

All candidates, including those nominated from the floor, will be permitted to give a speech (maximum of two (2) minutes).

All candidate petitions, including those from the floor, must be submitted to the National Office at least two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled election date.

We are asking all members to submit their election forms no later than March 7, 2026. Consent Forms must be received by March 7th to ensure eligibility for nominations from the floor at the March 7th meeting.

3. Youth Council Election
Date: March 28, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST
Method: Electronic (via text or email)

The election will be administered electronically using Election Buddy.

4. Run-Off Election (If Necessary)
If a run-off election is required, it will be conducted using Election Buddy on a specified date and time (for a minimum of one (1) hour). Run-off elections will occur no fewer than ten (10) days after the original election.

The following General Membership meetings of the (Junior Youth Council/Youth Council/High School Chapter/ College Chapter) NAACP, and the election of officers and at-large members of the executive committee.
1. On March 30th , 2025 via Zoom, 5pm, The Election of the Nominating Committee. All members whose memberships are current as of thirty (30) days prior to the meeting date may be elected to the Nominating Committee.

2. On April 6th, 2025 via Zoom, 7pm, report of the Nominating Committee and Election of Officers and at-large members of the Executive Committee.

3. Should a run-off election be necessary that election shall occur on the following date at time certain (at least 2 hours), Run-off elections shall be conducted not less than ten (10) days after the original election.
