Aurora Winter Coat Drive

This past Friday we donated the coats and winter supplies to Maddie's Mitten March! There has been a huge increase in the number of people who are in need of coats and winter accessories which is why the Aurora Winter Coat Drive is so important. Our donation came at a crucial time for Maddie's. In the past couple months alone, they have distributed over 5,000 winter items.

Big shoutout to Representative Barbara Hernandez, Good Morning Aurora, and Alive Aurora! The Aurora Winter Coat Drive is a beautiful partnership of 3 wonderful community organizations that each work together to collect coats and donate them to organizations that will best benefit our community, especially those most at risk. Thanks to their partnership and the support of the community over 50 coats and winter accessories were donated to Maddie's Mitten March which is a local community organization that holds winter coat distributions to help those in need!

Thanks to the support we received from the community we donated well over 100 coats and winter accessories to and held a youth coat distribution at ! This initiative would not have happened if it weren't for our community partners. A big, big thank you to State Representative and for partnering with us and making this new initiative possible! More exciting things to come for this initiative! Thank you for joining us in improving the quality of life for people in need across our community!

We will be providing donated winter coats and other winter accessories TODAY Friendsgiving event in partnership with and Culture Stock ! Ages 7 to 17 are welcome to come and pick out free winter gear! ❄

The distribution goes from 6-8pm at 78 S. LaSalle St., Aurora, IL 60505.

All of the winter gear distributed is FREE!

The Aurora Winter Coat Drive will be providing donated winter accessories for youth which we will be distributing at Friendsgiving event in collaboration with and ! Youth ages 7-17 can come in and try on free winter gear from 6-8pm at 78 S. LaSalle St., Aurora, IL, 60505.

Today is just the first day of our Winter Coat Drive participation and we've already got a great collection going! We are one of three drop off locations, you can visit our friends of Alive Aurora at 78 S. LaSalle Street & the Office of Representative Barbara Hernandez at 540 W. Galena blvd. 🎖
