Feels good to do good! January 19, 2026 -- Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a chance for Scouts to be good citizens, to step up as leaders and make a positive impact. By participating in service projects Scouts continue the work of building a better, more equitable world. Troop 318G and Orland Park Troop 318 helped pack meals going to Haiti with Feed My Starving Children - Aurora .

Celebrating MLK Day - National Day of Service by packing meals at Feed My Starving Children Aurora, IL. We helped pack 23,000 meals bound for the Philippines. Feels good to do good! A Scout is Helpful.

The Scouts always have a blast at this spelunking campout!

Our Scouts had a great weekend camping at one of our favorite spots, Eagle Cave. Night hikes, autumn leaves, cave exploring, and great food made it a trip to remember.

A fabulous Eagle project idea from Sophie S. - "celebration kits" for donation to the Incarnation St. Terrence Food Pantry. Because everyone should be celebrated on their special day! This Scout is Thoughtful, Helpful, Cheerful, and Kind and Reverent and bringing cheer to her community. Way to go, Sophie!

October 23rd is International Snow Leopard Day -- Here's 10 facts about this gorgeous big cat:
1: They're nicknamed the "ghosts of the mountains"
2: Snow Leopards don't roar
3: Their big paws act like snowshoes, preventing them from sinking in snow
4: Snow Leopards eat everything from birds to goats to ibex to rodents
5: Their tails act as wrap-around scarves for additional warmth when sleeping
6: They're more closely related to tigers than to leopards
7: Snow Leopards can leap up to 50 feet
8: They're solitary animals and hunt alone in territories 10 to 40 square miles
9: They're severely endangered, only a few thousand remain in the wild
10: Snow Leopards is the name of a T318G patrol!
