We feel deep sadness and anger about the tragic deaths of young people in Nepal during recent protests against corrupted government and institutions. Our hearts go out to the grieving families and to everyone whose voices were shut down.
As part of the Nepali community living in Colorado, we can’t stay quiet. Staying silent when something wrong happens makes us part of the problem. We must speak up, support our people back home, and push leaders to take responsibility.
We ask all community leaders, groups, and people to:
- Share this post and use your social media to speak against the attacks on protesters.
- Let’s organize candlelight vigils to stand with Nepali Gen Z!
– Let’s ask world groups, news outlets, and leaders to notice and act on Nepal’s crisis.
- Let’s support to the families who lost loved ones and share the stories of people there.
Our words from far away can help bring justice back home. Let’s remember those who died by fighting for a Nepal where everyone can speak freely.
Justice for Nepal. Justice for our young people Jai Nepal🇳🇵
