For those interested: the recent City of Augusta property reassessment (2022 to 2026) increased the assessed value of the land portion of TCPOA from $4.7 million to $10.3 million, a 119% increase. Add in the non-TCPOA land, the assessed value went from $8.5 million to $17.7 million. These data do not include building improvements.

Bicentennial Nature Park will open for the season TODAY, Wednesday, June 17th. Located on Three Cornered Pond, this 27-acre waterfront park is available exclusively to Augusta residents and offers swimming, hiking, picnicking, and carry-in boat access.

The park features wooded trails, picnic areas with tables and grills, a swimming area with docks and floats, restrooms, and changing facilities.

Hours of Operation
-Wednesday to Sunday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-Closed Monday and Tuesday

Please note that the park may close due to inclement weather.

Fees
Daily admission:
-$4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children (5-11) and seniors (65+).
-Season passes are available at $50.00 for family/vehicle, $25.00 for adults, $10.00 for children and $10.00 for seniors.

Augusta-Area Drop Off Day for hazardous waste, e-waste, medications, paint, and document shredding. Given the popularity of this event, please be prepared to wait in line during the busy times.
