💙 MEET THE HEART OF OUR OFFICE TEAM! 📋✨
While you often see photos of wrenches turning and grease on hands, God’s Grace Auto Repair couldn’t open its doors each week without the incredible team running things behind the desk!

Because our ministry is 100% volunteer-run, every single person in our office gives their time freely so every dollar donated goes directly toward shop overhead and serving neighbors in need.

Today, we want to give a special shout-out to the dedicated team keeping our office, schedules, and operations moving smoothly:

🌟 OUR OFFICE FAMILY:

Brittany Johnson (Full-Time Volunteer Office Manager): Brittany is the backbone of our daily operations! She keeps client schedules organized, manages communications, and ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes every single day.

Janell Johnson (Full-Time Volunteer Helper): While balancing her homeschooling, Janell steps up in a huge way by assisting with client intake forms, data entry, and whatever office task needs doing next.

Martina Wilson (Weekly Office Volunteer): Martina serves with us once a week, coming alongside Brittany to help manage paperwork, client check-ins, and keep our front office organized and welcoming.

Tiffany Curbow (Office Volunteer & Grant Researcher): Tiffany serves in the office 2 days a week in person and continues working from home whenever time permits—tackling daily tasks, learning our parts ordering and receiving process, and actively researching and applying for grants to keep our ministry funded!

🚗 SHOP RECAP: THIS WEEK IN THE BAY! 🛠️
It’s been another full week at God’s Grace Auto Repair! While this is just a highlight reel of the work our team tackled—not even counting every vehicle we looked at—our volunteer team was hard at work keeping local families on the road safely.

Because our ministry is 100% volunteer-run and never charges for mechanical diagnostics, every vehicle that comes through our doors is about providing honest answers and quality repairs without commercial shop markups.

Here is a look at what kept our bay hopping this week:

🔧 WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE BAY:

1998 Ford Ranger: Completed front wheel bearing replacements to smooth out the ride.

2018 Buick Encore: Standard maintenance visit—oil change, tire rotation, and a full brake inspection.

2022 Kia Carnival: Installed fresh front brake pads.

2015 Chrysler 200: Suspension inspection revealed worn sway bar links; quoted the job for the owner.

2013 Kia Sorento: Major job completed—replaced both the engine and transmission mounts!

2018 Honda Accord: Replaced rear brake pads and rotors to restore solid stopping power.

2013 Dodge Avenger: Routine oil change service.

2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser: Quick fix in the bay—replaced a failed brake light bulb.

2010 Toyota Camry: Diagnosed a engine vibration and found a torn dogbone engine mount.

2017 Hyundai Accent: Followed up on a previous inspection to install fresh front brake pads.

Mobile Diagnostics (Overheating Issues): Completed 2 mobile diags this week—diagnosed a failed passenger-side radiator cooling fan on a 2009 Ford Edge, and pinpointed a broken radiator cap on a 2005 Toyota Avalon.

What an incredible turnout we had at our first Raising Dough Community Night at Your Pie! Thanks to everyone who came out to eat and support God’s Grace Auto Repair, we enjoyed amazing food, great fellowship, and raised vital funds to keep our shop wrenches turning for families across Augusta.

At God’s Grace Auto Repair, our ministry is 100% volunteer-run—not a single person takes a paycheck, and every donation goes directly toward keeping our bays open for neighbors in need. Today, we want to shine a special light on two incredible people making a huge difference both on the shop floor and behind the desk: Tiffany & Michael Curbow!

⚡ A GAME-CHANGER FOR OUR SHOP BAY
First off, Tiffany and Michael blessed our ministry by donating a QuickJack lift system to the shop! We’ve already put it to work in the bay, and it has been an absolute game-changer for our volunteer mechanics, making under-car inspections and repair work safer and faster.

📋 FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE OFFICE
On top of that huge blessing, Tiffany serves right in our office 2 days a week in person and continues working from home the rest of the week whenever time permits!

She steps in to tackle any office task needed, but she’s also taking on major projects behind the scenes:

📦 Parts Management: Learning our parts ordering and receiving process to streamline how we get components to the bay.

📜 Grant Writing: Actively researching and applying for grants to help secure sustainable funding for our ministry’s future!

🚗 SHOP RECAP: THE LAST 2 WEEKS IN THE BAY! 🛠️
It’s been a busy couple of weeks at God’s Grace Auto Repair! While this is just a highlight reel of the majority of vehicles that rolled through—not even counting every single car we saw—our volunteer team has been hard at work turning wrenches, diagnosing issues, and keeping families across Augusta driving safely.

Because we are 100% volunteer-run and never charge for mechanical diagnostics, every job that comes through our doors is about giving folks honest answers and reliable work without commercial shop markups.

Here is a look at what kept our bays hopping these past two weeks:

🔧 HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE BAY:

2022 Kia Carnival: Fresh oil change for our Back-to-School Raffle winner! 🎟️

2002 Ford Focus: Major front-end overhaul—replaced front control arms with ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, both CV axles, and sway bar links!

2017 Ford Escape: Full suspension diagnostic; identified worn components and provided an honest quote for repairs.

1998 Ford Ranger: Came in with a heavy vibration issue—diagnosed a bad passenger-side wheel bearing.

2013 Kia Sorento: Replaced worn front brake pads and rotors.

2003 Toyota Tacoma: In for routine maintenance with an oil change and tire rotation.

2021 Chevy Blazer: Starter replacement completed in the bay!

2008 Chevy Suburban: Diagnosed a no-shift condition and found the shifter bushing was completely gone. Got the parts quoted and the repair completed to get them back on the road!

2018 Toyota RAV4: Major maintenance day—oil change, front and rear pads/rotors, and fresh spark plugs.

2017 Hyundai Accent: Free brake inspection revealed front pads were almost down to metal; quoted and scheduled for repair.

2012 Honda Civic: Fresh front pads and rotors installed.

2013 Dodge Durango: Starter replacement following up on a previous mobile diagnostic.

Mobile Diagnostics: Completed 8 mobile diags across the community to help neighbors get clear answers on their vehicle issues.
