October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we would like to take a minute and recognize one of our very own board members, Crystal Leavitt! Crystal is a 2 year survivor of triple negative breast cancer. Through her courage she has given Hope Strength and Support to so many people that are fighting all forms of cancer. She has turned what was one of the worst times of her life into a positive as she continues to help cancer patients right in our own community!
Crystal, we are so proud and honored to have you as part of the Steve's Heroes family!!

ONE WEEK until the Day of Hope!

There’s still time to join our team or donate!

Our very own Steve will have his story shared on this special day, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate and support him.

The Day of Hope is also a time to honor everyone we know who has faced cancer, remember those we’ve lost, and recognize the incredible loved ones who stand beside us through it all.

We come together for one purpose—to support cancer patients and their families in our community!!

Day: Saturday October 3rd
Where: Augusta Civic Center
Time: Doors open at 8:30, presentation starts at 10
Walk: 1.8 miles around UMA campus

A HUGE Thank you to Waterville Sunrise Rotary Club and Modern Woodmen of America for their generous donations to Steve's Heroes Foundation! This morning Waterville Sunrise Rotary Club presented us a $2500 donation and Modern Woodmen of America matched with their own $2500 donation!
