Bracken County 4-H Shooting Sports We are a 4-H Shooting Sports club in Bracken County, Kentucky. Our youth shoot from 9-18 years old.

We shoot disciplines Archery, 22 rifle, 22 pistol, trap and air pistol.

Just spoke with Alvin. Due to the continued rain and amount of mud, the shooting range has not been able to be mowed safely. Because of the conditions, 4-H Shooting Sports practice scheduled for tomorrow, May 27, has been canceled.

We’re excited to kick off a new tradition with our Bracken County 4-H Shooting Sports crew! Each month, we’ll come together to celebrate all the hard work, growth, and skills our youth are building—both on and off the range.

Because let’s be honest… the best way to celebrate is with good food and even better company! 😊

📣 4-H Shooting Sports Range Days 📣

All youth planning to participate in 4-H Shooting Sports this season are REQUIRED to attend one of the following range days:

📅 April 23rd – 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
📅 April 30th – 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

📍 Location: Target Ridge Shooting Sports Complex
1450 AA Highway
Augusta, Kentucky

These range days are essential for getting started, reviewing safety procedures, and ensuring all participants are prepared for a successful season. Please plan accordingly and attend one of the scheduled dates.

🎯🍀 Attention 4-H Shooting Sports Families! 🍀🎯

The Bracken County 4-H Shooting Sports program will be hosting a Quarter Auction on March 27th, and we need YOUR help to make it a success!

🧺 We are asking for donations of gift baskets and auction items.
🥤 Beverages and gift baskets should be delivered to the Extension Office no later than March 20th.
🍰 Desserts can be brought the day of the event — March 27th.

Interested in participating in 4-H Shooting Sports for 2026? This meeting is for you!

✅ Attendance is MANDATORY for anyone wishing to participate in 4-H Shooting Sports during the 2026 year.
