Please join us in congratulating Patrick Regan, who now begins his term as President of the Irish-American Heritage Society.

Patrick becomes the fourth member of the Regan family to serve as IAHS President, following his father, John Regan, our 10th President, and his brothers Michael Regan, our 21st President, and Tim Regan, our 25th President. It is a remarkable family legacy of service to the Society and to Augusta’s Irish-American community.

We also extend our sincere thanks to outgoing President Jason Scherer for his leadership, dedication, and service to IAHS.

Congratulations as well to our new officers:
Patrick Regan, President
Joe Bowles, Vice President
Stephen Hickey, Treasurer
Patrick Douglas, Jr., Secretary

We look forward to the year ahead and are grateful for the members who continue to give their time and energy to our society.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Byron Duncan, a beloved member of the Irish American Heritage Society.

Byron embodied this Society. His passion for Irish heritage and his commitment to this community left a lasting mark on all of us.

Members are asked to wear their IAHS Sashes to his funeral Mass on Friday, April 24, at 1:00 PM at St. Mary on the Hill as a tribute to the man and the legacy he leaves behind.

Please keep Estelle and the entire Duncan family in your thoughts and prayers.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

View James Byron Duncan's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.

What a special afternoon celebrating our Irish Lady of the Year, Mrs. Karen Brooks. ☘️

The Ladies Tea is always a favorite on our calendar, and this year was no exception. So many smiles, so much laughter, and a room full of women gathered to honor Mrs. Brooks and the example she sets for our Society. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the day so meaningful.

The photo album is now live - take a look and tag a friend you spotted in the crowd.
