At this late date, I suspect that incredibly few people have not yet made up their mind regarding the presidential election. Notwithstanding that recognition, I would suggest that anyone who is interested in America's future listen to this in-depth conversation with Condoleezza Rice. The world situation is in far worse shape than most understand and America's place in the world is far from static. I would ask that you listen to this and then ask yourself, who do you want leading our country?

I keep seeing articles discussing the substantial expansion of the legalized sports gambling market. State legislatures need to take a real look at how these are taxed because the number of people who will end up in the welfare "safety net" is going to go up just as rapidly. Far be it from me to tell anyone what to do with their money. But, in as much as a large number of these gamblers are going to ask me to pay for their welfare support, I feel like I am entitled. I was accidently (I would not have knowingly done it. 😂) put into an advanced probability and statistics class in high school and learned early on that the house ALWAYS wins in the long run. Since that time, I have never seen any legitimate research which contradicts the generalization that those least able to afford a gambling loss are those most prone to gamble. Therefore, I would strongly advise any legislator to help ensure that legal gambling entities are taxed enough to support the influx of those who fall into poverty because of gambling. I'm already doing my share!

As the election gets nearer, the left has "pressed the accelerator" on gaslighting the average (and unfortunately) ill-informed American voter. Indeed, the Progressives have far exceeded anything that the Third Reich was able achieve in the 1930's. It appears that they have copied George Orwell's concept of New-speak, mixed it with Joseph Goebbels' approach to using the "big lie" and applied it wholesale in disparaging anything other than their socialist candidates, including the Giggler. It is truly astonishing!

I was fortunate enough to have attended high school at a time that CIVICs was a required course. Through that class and 10th grade American History we learned that the USA was a democratic REPUBLIC; a model of government which protected its citizens from the tyranny of the majority. Left wing "progressives" are doing their best to convince ill-educated Americans that we need to become more "democratic" by doing away with the Electoral College, packing the Supreme Court and removing powers from the individual states. We, as informed citizens must insist on preserving the dream of our founding fathers. A dream which has provided better lives for more people than any other in the history of the world.
