Located on the 2nd floor of the library, we now have the beginnings of a new collection: books in French and Spanish! We look forward to seeing this collection grow to include patron-requested titles, and hopefully more languages! Please let a staff member know if there is a book in another language you would like us to get, and we can see if we are able to add it to our collection 😊📖🌎

The staff of Lithgow Library invite you to celebrate the library’s 130th anniversary! The Library was dedicated and opened on this day in 1896. Come have a photo op with founder Llewelyn W. Lithgow on the Mezzanine, and while you are there visit the historic timeline of the library. The first 75 people to borrow library items will receive a frameable copy of the original rules of the library. Celebrate with us today, and this year!

01/26/2026

Due to winter weather, the library will be closed on Monday, January 26th.
