90-Day Notice of Dissolution of Inactive Local Associations

The Board of Directors has identified seven (7) Local Associations that have been inactive for two years or longer. Attempts made to reach members of these associations were unsuccessful.
In accordance with the IAIP Bylaws – Article IV-Divisions, Section 4- Local Associations, Item C – Charter Revocation, this announcement serves as the 90-day required notice to the membership of the Board of Directors’ intent to vote on dissolution of these local associations at the regularly scheduled board meeting in April 2025.
The reasons for the dissolution/revocation vote are:
1) failure to maintain the required number minimum membership for 2 consecutive years;
2) failure to hold regular meetings
The identified Local Associations are:
Region I
Insurance Professionals of Downeast Maine
Region II
Insurance Professionals of Southwest Virginia
Region IV
Ashland Association of Insurance Professionals
Region V
Mid-Kansas Insurance Association
Rockford Area Insurance Association
High Plains Insurance Professionals
Region VI
Houston Association of Insurance Professionals
