Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International – Central Savannah River Section, again sponsored a Special Award at the 2020 SC Regional Future City Competition. We truly appreciated supporting the students and this competition.

Over the last 17 yrs our section has helped students, teachers, engineers, and countless others learn the meaning and value of good Planning & Scheduling. In recent trends, we have noticed that the best planned city is normally a big winner. We have raised the bar for them, and many students and schools answered the call. The competition's overall winner goes to the national in February. Who knows, we might of just spoke with a major future city planner or project manager.

AACE-CSRA recognized Merriwether Middle School’s team, “Crescentville” for having the Best Planned City. Attached you will find a picture of the team that won the award. A big thank you goes to the judging and mentoring team this year. Ellie Evans, Sam Budenstein, Larry Sheron, and Brandon McBride.
We are looking forward to working with major event again next year.

An excellent presentation on the status of America's only new build nuclear power reactor since 3-mile island. This reactor is years ahead and safer than ever. Bechtel is doing a massive job on keeping this project moving. We all learned so much.
