For many years now, we have continued to build upon our father's legacy of giving in many communities around the country. The James Brown Family Foundation, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2007 for charitable and educational purpo

ses. Our father, founded the Annual James Brown Turkey and Toy Giveaways. These events assisted underprivileged children and impoverished families. It is in accordance with his wishes that we continue to bring hope and fulfillment to even more families in need. The children of James Brown are dedicated to honoring our father's memory. JBFF organizes and manages those two main events and have established other annual giving programs. About J.A.M.P. is a Musical, instrumental, initiative year-round hub designed for the youth to discover their musical ability to “Staying on the Good Foot.” Founder Deanna Brown-Thomas, daughter of the Late “Godfather of Soul” collaborated with various educational consultants and music educators across the country to form this awesome melodic, educational academy. Headquartered in Augusta, Georgia— the stomping grounds to the Late James Brown, the hardest-working man in the business— J.A.M.P! is a non-profit musical village that operates solely on small grants, donations and tuition. J.A.M.P!’s intentions are to motivate, educate and inspire children through the universal language of music and enrich their hidden musical abilities. THE JAMES BROWN FAMILY HISTORICAL TOUR
The 25-passenger seated capacity and temperature controlled bus provided by T and T Transportation will take fans of Mr. James Brown on a narrated tour making stops at places that are significant to the history of Mr. Brown's life growing up and living in Augusta, GA. Highlights include such sites as the elementary school that James Brown attended, the home where he lived as a child, businesses owned by James Brown, James Brown Statue, James Brown Arena and much more!

In the photo is Rodney Bellinger, a standout athlete drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 1984, who went on to play until 1989. He was also part of the University of Miami’s first National Championship team and earned MVP honors during his collegiate career.

He is the son-in-law of Mr. James Brown and is married to Jeanette Brown Bellinger.

Taking it back to a powerful moment in history: Mr. James Brown and sports icon “Hammerin’” Hank Aaron were both in attendance at a fundraising event hosted by then–Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter for his 1976 presidential campaign. The event was held at the Royal Coach Inn in Atlanta, Georgia.
