We are less than 48 hours until we board the bus, so here are a few notes:
- Make sure you have eaten dinner before getting onto the bus
- We will be sleeping on the bus, so please be respectful of others. We will arrive at the Summit at 6am, so there will be not a lot of time to sleep.
- You should have a full water bottle in day pack that will be will you on the bus.
- Any medications need to be in a zip lock bag with the Scout's name on it. It will be handed over to your Adult Leader.
- Please be at the Georgia-Carolina Council office at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 18 to meet our motor coach for departure to the Jamboree. Please be on time.
- You should be dressed in full Class A uniform, along with the red or blue jamboree t-shirt under (4324 is blue, 4325 is red). Your jamboree duffel bag will be packed under the bus, and your Day Pack will go on the bus with you. A Class A uniform includes your uniform, Scout pants or shorts, and Scout socks.Let's represent both our Councils well.
- The 2 coaches will be identified by Jamboree Troop/Crew number, so please verify you are boarding the correct bus and your duffel is on the correct bus. The coaches will be parked at the end of Madeline Drive near the cul-de-sac. Parents are asked to park in the lots at either the Scout office or at the building immediately next door (EnCompass), or even along Madeline Drive (please don't crowd the bus).
- If you are in the P*e Dee Area Council, please check with Mr. Hall regarding transportation to meet the bus.
- We also will be collecting one canned food item as you get on the bus. This is part of the Jamboree food drive that the entire Jamboree will be participating in.
If you have any questions over the five days, please contact one of the leaders and w will be happy to assist you.
