From Vision to Ex*****on

PMI Augusta-Aiken was fortunate to hear from Dr. Troy Akers, whose career has taken him from the military and emergency medicine to entrepreneurship and a portfolio of 15 businesses employing more than 300 people.

Troy shared how the systems and processes he learned in military service, residency training, and project management have helped him turn ideas into real-world ventures. From building the #1 Crumbl Cookies location in the country for six consecutive weeks, to developing housing with HUD and Habitat for Humanity, to transforming the Cotton Exchange into a future event space, his work reflects a consistent drive to start, build, and execute.

Troy describes himself as a visionary who relies on project management to bring those visions to life. His story was engaging, personal, and one to remember.

And now PMI is putting one of those ventures to work.

PMI Augusta-Aiken has reserved Dink’d on September 27 for coached pickleball lessons and networking.
