A new chapter is ahead for Wellstar and Stephens County Hospital.

Wellstar has announced its intent to bring Stephens County Hospital into the Wellstar Health System, pending regulatory approval.

For nearly 90 years, Stephens County Hospital has been an important part of healthcare in Northeast Georgia. We recognize the hospital's longstanding legacy and the team members whose dedication has made that impact possible.

Congratulations to the team at Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital on earning its first Magnet® Designation with Distinction from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

This recognition reflects years of dedication to nursing excellence, compassionate care, patient outcomes and collaboration across the Windy Hill team.

Windy Hill is now one of just 16 Magnet-designated organizations in Georgia, joining Wellstar Paulding Medical Center and Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in achieving this distinction.
