Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center has reached a historic milestone in cardiac care.

We are proud to announce that Wellstar Kennestone has earned three stars—the highest possible STS rating—in five out of six categories evaluated by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, placing us among the most elite cardiothoracic surgery programs in the United States and Canada, and the only program in Georgia at this level.

This distinction reflects the exceptional skill, dedication and clinical excellence of our cardiothoracic surgery team and our unwavering commitment to delivering the best possible outcomes for every patient we serve.
