Our goal is to improve the overall well-being of the child by providing guidance, lifelong skills, and lessons which in turn allows each of them to develop into their full potential, capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of the community.

Final Day of Graduation Season... Our Radiant Pearl, Em.

Today was extra special. Em has been part of the Precious Pearls family since middle school, and what a journey it has been. We've had the privilege of watching her grow from a young girl unsure of whomshe was into a beautiful, resilient, and determined young woman ready for her next chapter.

We have watched her learn, overcome obstacles, find her voice, mature, and continue pushing forward even when things weren't easy. Through every season, she showed up, kept growing, and kept becoming.

Em, we are so proud of you. We not only celebrate your academic achievement; we celebrate your perseverance, your growth, and the incredible young woman you have become. It has been an honor to walk alongside you through these years.

Day 2 of Graduation Season

Kamaria, Zhanai, and Nevaeh, we are so proud of you!

It has been an absolute honor to watch each of you grow, learn, overcome challenges, and step into the amazing young women you are becoming. Watching you walk across that stage was more than a graduation moment. It was a reminder that hard work, perseverance, and determination truly pay off.

As you enter this next chapter, never forget that your future is full of possibilities. Continue to dream big, work hard, trust God, and believe in yourselves even when the journey feels uncertain. Remember that your value is not found in what you accomplish, but in who God created you to be.

Our beautiful Radiant Pearl, Kaira Floyd, walked across the stage as a Hephzibah High School Honor Graduate! She is now preparing for her next chapter as she enters University of South Carolina Aiken.

To watch her come out of her shell, grow in confidence, and step into the role of a mentor-in-training has been such a beautiful journey to witness. We’ve watched her lead with kindness, serve with humility, and continue to push herself academically and personally.

This is why we do what we do. Moments like this remind us that pouring into our youth matters. Watching our Pearls grow into strong, intelligent, compassionate young women will never get old for me.

Our beautiful Mini Pearl came to us 2 years ago, and it has truly been an honor to walk alongside her as we’ve watched her grow. Its a beautiful thing to see a 180 change in behavior and attitude with presence a d consistency.

Another school year is in the books! We are so proud of our young lady and all of her accomplishments. She turns 10 on the 25th and is being promoted to the 5th grade!

One of the highlights of what we do as we walk alongside each Pearl is seeing them grow in every area of their lives.

Kennedi has been with us since the 3rd grade, and now our Mini Pearl is headed to middle school, stepping into our Emerging Pearl group. Watching her grow, mature, serve, and shine has been such a blessing.

We are so proud of you, Kennedi! Keep blooming, baby girl. Your Pearl family is cheering you on every step of the way.

To be among the 3 finalists for the Bridge Builder Community Leader Award was truly a full circle moment to me. The work I do through Precious Pearls Mentoring and Evolve with Wallisa is rooted in love, purpose, and intention. Why? Because I know what it feels like to be unseen by people and overlooked by systems. I know the struggle of aging out of foster care with no real footing on how to navigate the world.

So to Bridge Builder Communities, Jackson II Drumgoole, ShDonna Drumgoole thank you for looking beyond the circumstances of the youth you encounter and seeing the potential, purpose, and promise within them. Thank you for offering "life" after surviving foster care.

I am a representation of what can happen when a village refuses to give up on a child. I am a representation of community, compassion, resilience, and God’s grace. I am a representation of broken places becoming bridges for others.

This recognition is bigger than me. It belongs to every young person fighting to believe they matter and every adult committed to helping them see it.
