We cannot stop thinking about how much fun we had volunteering at the Golden Harvest to close out Nurses week! We were able to help package over 126 boxes filled with beans, cereals, and other food items for their Summer Harvest program!

Mental Health Matters! We take today to remember a great event hosted by New Exodus Missionary Baptist Church. We were able to attend their Mental Health Forum, which featured our very own board member Theresa Brisker on their panel informing the community on why it is important to take your mental health serious. This event was refreshing and brought out big names in our community such as Judge Penny Brown Reynolds who is currently running for Secretary of State.

In this season of giving, our hearts are full as we reflect on the blessings within our community. After our Gala, we were grateful to donate all remaining food to a local shelter, making sure nothing went to waste and that it served those who needed it most.

Serving others is a privilege and a joy. “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” — Hebrews 13:16

We are truly thankful for the opportunity to give back and support our neighbors. May this spirit of generosity continue to guide us as we uplift and care for one another. 💛
