Help us build a new annual tradition. Trick or Treat on Water Street 🎃 will kick off this year with a Spooky Stroll from the Fire Station at 369 Water Street.

Join the Dancing Witches of Merkaba Sol 🧙 as they lead a walk down the hill, through the entire Trick or Treat area, and back to Merkaba Sol. They’ll start their walk at 4:15 sharp and end at 4:30 with the official event opening! 🐈‍⬛ 🧛 🧟 🎃 🧙 👻

**NOTE: Please do not park at the fire station. The lots and street south of Winthrop Street will be open for parking.

Trick or Treat on Water Street 🎃 is the place to be on Halloween.

It is ALL about the free candy, but we also will have five food trucks on hand to satisfy all your cravings. This year we’re welcoming El Agaves on Wheels, the mobile truck for local favorite, El Agave’s Mexican Restaurant. 🌮 🌵They’ll be serving Saturday, October 31 from 4:30-7:30 pm near the corner of Water St and Bridge St.

Have you checked out The Kennebec Room and The Lounge upstairs?

Owners Joc and Mallori have known each other since 2020, and when the opportunity came along to open a restaurant and upstairs lounge in downtown Augusta, they decided to go for it. We’re so glad they did!

The Kennebec Room is perfect for date night, lunch with friends, or simply treating yourself to a great meal and a handcrafted cocktail. And there’s a story behind the name! The walls feature historical photographs of the Kennebec River and a map that pay tribute to the river that’s such an important part of our community.

The kitchen is all about craft, quality, and local ingredients. Think steaks cut in-house, fresh fish from the local fish market, foraged mushrooms, and sauces made from scratch. Whether you’re in the mood for a really good burger or an upscale dinner, the goal is to make great food approachable and enjoyable.

And when you're ready to keep the evening going, head upstairs to The Lounge. With its whimsical nightlife vibe, velvet couches, music, and small plates, it's the perfect place to settle in for a nightcap and end your evening on a high note.

Sharing this fun Halloween event from our friends at Merkaba Sol! 🎃👻

The Spooky Stroll, featuring the Dancing Witches of Merkaba Sol, will kick off Trick or Treat on Water Street on October 31 at 4:15 p.m.

The witches will make their way down Water Street from the Augusta Fire Station, and everyone is invited to walk along… if you dare! 🧙‍♀️🕷️
