Facebook fam we need your help, one of our current participants in our workforce program wears a size 16 shoe. We have attempted to find his shoe in a multitude of stores locally and now we are asking for your support. This young man is working towards military and college and supporting him until those are accomplished is our main priority. Any support would be amazing.

Today we kicked off another round of job skills training through our BITSOT Program in partnership with The Salvation Army of Augusta! Over the next two weeks, participants will receive job skills training, life skills support, and access to employment opportunities as they work toward a brighter future.

Aligning our participants with employment opportunities allows people to move forward toward housing, child care, and financial stability. If you would like to partner to provide employment, or educational services to our amazing participants please reach out. Thanks!

Today We Celebrated and a time was had. Phase 1 completed, thank you to our board member Andre Lacey and community partner Stand Fast for sponsoring a fun filled afternoon at Starsandstrikes .

Today marks the end of Phase 1 of 3 of our 2026 Summer BITSOT Workforce Development program. We have 8 men who have trusted in our organization to create a structured training to assist them with getting back into the art of being productive.

Within the last few weeks, our guys have not only gained more confidence in themselves but they have gained confidence in one another.

Even though this is only phase 1 we ask that you congratulate these guys and continuously support our mission with prayer, sharing our work, and partnering with us so that the opportunities today will lead to pathways of success in the future.

Today was an amazing day, we had the opportunity to support one of the many men who are sitting in the local jails because of the lack of housing support in our communities to assist with helping to stabilize their lives.

Since meeting him a few weeks ago we have built an amazing relationship with him and look to serve him as best as possible. Having the community partners to offer their services allows us to make sure our guys trust us and the process.

Thank you to the Accountability courts for trusting us to serve and we loom forward to continue being a blessing.

Today was a day that was first of many, we had our first donation from Amazon.com these donations will be used and distributed
throughout the community thru trusted community partners. Next we headed over to Jim Hudson LEXUS-Augusta where we were assisted by Keenan and man he was one of the best guys that we could've linked with that day.
Once the car was picked out, we headed over to SRP Federal Credit Union who had us in and out in no time, during the financing portion, we realize that we didn’t have insurance lined up so we’ve reached out to James O'Neal: Allstate Insurance who got him squared away and able to drive off the lot . These are the moments that makes all the hard times worth it, we asked that you guys to continue to support us. Please give a huge congratulations to Lamont on this major accomplishment and stay tuned for more.

He served his country.
But like so many others, he didn’t know the benefits he earned were even available to him.

By the time he got to us, he was tired
tired of the struggle, the hurt, and the cycle.

And then one day, he said it:
“I need help.”

So we moved.

We got in the truck and took that next step with him together.

At Blount Beginnings, this is what we see every day
Men who served but slipped through the cracks
People who were never shown what support they actually have access to
Individuals who don’t need judgment they need guidance and consistency

We don’t just point people in the right direction.
We walk with them until they can stand on their own.

This is how trust is built.
This is how lives begin to change.
This is what community looks like in action.
