Maine Section Call for Nominations

Dear Maine Section Members,

We are pleased to announce the Maine Section Annual Election. Candidate nominations are now being accepted for the IEEE Maine Section Annual Election. We are seeking nominations for the following elected position(s).

Chair, Term Start: 01 Jan 2026, Term End: 01 Jan 2028
Vice Chair, Term Start: 01 Jan 2026, Term End: 01 Jan 2028
Secretary, Term Start: 01 Jan 2026, Term End: 01 Jan 2028
Treasurer, Term Start: 01 Jan 2026, Term End: 01 Jan 2028

The responsibilities of each position are described in the IEEE Member & Geographic Activities (MGA) Operations Manual.

Nominees must be IEEE members of Maine Section as of 07 October 2025 06:46 PM America/New_York and be of Graduate Student Member, Member, Senior Member, Life Member, or Fellow grade.

The nomination deadline is 10 October 2025 11:59 PM America/New_York. The Petition opening will be announced to all eligible members and the deadline to place petitions will be 16 October 2025 11:59 PM America/New_York. Voting will be held utilizing vTools.

Please go to https://nominations.vtools.ieee.org/tego_/nominate_or_petition/R10017 using your IEEE account credential to nominate yourself or another member. With nominations, we ask each candidate to present a biography, and a statement of plan.
