Empowered Ambitions and Bike Bike Baby Unite to Bring Halloween Cheer and Cancer Awareness to Augusta and the CSRA
Augusta, Ga – October 3, 2025 – Empowered Ambitions Inc. and Bike Bike Baby are proud to announce an alliance to spread Halloween cheer while raising awareness about the devastating impact of cancer. This partnership blends festive celebration with meaningful advocacy, offering families a safe and fun seasonal event while honoring cancer survivors, supporting those in the fight, and remembering loved ones lost.

The collaboration will be highlighted at the Community Trunk-or-Treat, hosted at Timms Harley-Davidson of Augusta, Ga., on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event promises safe trick-or-treating, decorated vehicles, community engagement, and an atmosphere of hope and solidarity.
Empowered Ambitions Inc.

Founded in 2019 and recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2022, Empowered Ambitions Inc. is primarily composed of over 90% retired veterans and U.S. contractors. The organization is dedicated to empowering and supporting veterans and their families who face social and economic challenges, particularly those linked to homelessness, medical and mental health issues, and financial instability.

"This partnership is about more than candy and costumes," said Derrick Griffin, Director of Operations for Empowered Ambitions Inc. "It’s about coming together as a community to shine a light on the realities of cancer, uplift those impacted, and show that Augusta and the CSRA stand strong together."

Bike Bike Baby, founded by Alvin and Christina Watson after relocating from New Orleans to Augusta, is a locally owned tour and Augusta’s premier bike-experience business offering guided bike tours, leisure themed night rides, and private group events. The Watsons also bring a taste of New Orleans culture to the region through Augusta’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, which features a vibrant parade, masquerade ball, food, and live music festival.

"Community is at the heart of everything we do," said Christina Watson, co-owner of Bike Bike Baby. "This event is a chance to make memories while also making a difference for families affected by cancer."

Paralyzed Veterans of America Southeastern Chapter 26th Annual Augusta, GA Toy Run

The Paralyzed Veterans of America was founded by a band of service members who came home from World War II with spinal cord injuries. These wounded heroes made a decision not just to live, but to live with dignity as contributors to society. Since 1946, Paralyzed Veterans of America has had a mission to change lives and build brighter futures for our heroes with spinal cord injuries/disease. We've had a single-minded mission-to empower our brave men and women to regain what they fought for: their freedom and independence.

When Americans serve in the military, the whole family makes a sacrifice, and sometimes the children make the biggest sacrifice of all. For that reason, this year, on December 7, 2025, The Paralyzed Veterans of America Southeastern Chapter will conduct its 26th Annual Christmas House Toy Run. This run is designed to assist Military Service Members and their Families as they go into the Holiday season. This is especially important to children of deployed Service Members. The toys, gifts and other donations collected by the Paralyzed Veterans of America Southeastern Chapter will be given to the Christmas House.

The Christmas House was established in 1966, when a group of Fort Gordon nurses hosted a teddy bear drive to ensure children of deployed Soldiers received a Christmas gift. Since its inception, the Christmas House continued to build upon the foundation laid over 57 years ago, expanding to assist struggling lower enlisted Fort Eisenhower families of all branches of service.

Focusing on struggling lower enlisted families (E1-E6) of all branches of service to include US Army Reserve and National Guard service members currently serving on active duty (minimum of 30 days at time of application) the Christmas House aids in reducing the stress of the holiday season.

This year, Empowered Ambitions, whose mission is to connect veterans and families to holistic services including healthcare case management support, job training/placement, and family assistance services, will assist with the facilitation of the Paralyzed Veterans of America Southeastern Chapter 26th Annual Christmas House Toy Run.

We are calling on all Motorcycle Organizations, Independent Motorcycle Enthusiasts and their Friends and Families to participate in this year's Christmas House Toy Run.

This year, there will be multiple starting points that you can select from:

1. The parking lot of The Augusta, GA Museum of History, 509 Reynolds St, Augusta, GA 30901 | Meet time – 1:00pm / KSU enroute to the PVA Facility – 1:20pm

2. Timms Harley-Davidson of Augusta, 129 Mason McKnight Jr Pkwy, Augusta, GA 30907| Meet time – 1:00pm / KSU en route to the PVA Facility – 1:20pm

3. Tru iKonz Sports Bar and Grill, Event Center, 1515 N. Leg Rd, Augusta, GA 30909 | Meet time – 1:15pm / KSU en route to the PVA Facility – 1:40pm

4. You and/or any organization you are a part of can designate your own starting point if you desire. We ask that you still build enough time into your schedule to arrive by 2:00pm

We ask that all riders arrive at the Paralyzed Veterans of America facility located at 4010 Deans Bridge Rd, Hephzibah, Ga 30815 at approximately 1400hrs (2:00 pm)

Registration for participation only requires that you bring a new – unwrapped gift, or a donation of $20.

We hope to see you all at this awesome event which serves those military families in need and ensures children of deployed service membes receive a Christmas gift during the Holidays.
