Fellow members,

I am deeply humbled by the support I received for the Vice President election. I feel honored to have won the election. I assure you that I will work hard to make the NCHA the best equine organization for its members.

During the next few years, I look forward to being part of the leadership team that makes the NCHA better. With everyone working together we can accomplish great things. With your involvement, we can continue to improve both the weekend events and age events. Let me know if you are interested in getting involved with our organization.

I am speechless…. Thank you for this tremendous honor.

The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) announces the next NCHA Vice President will be Mark Senn from Augusta, Georgia. Senn will take on his new position as Vice President starting on June 5, 2022.

“The NCHA has provided me the opportunity to not only participate but get to know and appreciate the people that continue the traditions and heritage of this western sport,” incoming NCHA vice-president, Senn said. “The people in cutting and the cutting horse family make the organization special to all involved. I would like to see the NCHA grow the awareness of the sport and become the very best equine organization.”

First of all, I want to encourage everyone to vote before the deadline which is May 13th. Your vote matters and historically the turnout has been low. Let’s change history and have a record of participation in the voting process.

I have been to weekend cutting events all over during the past few months of campaigning and I can say that it was a great experience to spend time with the cutting families throughout the United States and elsewhere at these events. At every event, members went out of their way to welcome me and it made me grateful for the chance I have to be a part of this organization.
I learned a lot talking to members along this journey. Mostly I learned that people are passionate and care about their horses and cutting and their weekend cutting family.
I feel honored to have the chance to be considered for the Vice President position. I can tell you that should I get a chance to serve in this capacity I will be the voice for all members. I will do my best to get all of us to work together for the betterment of the organization and its members.
Let your voice be heard. Please vote before May 13th.

I know a lot of you have already voted. Did you know that traditionally less than 1/3 of our members vote? Let's change that this year!
If you get a chance please call, text, or email your friends and remind them to vote. Voting for the NCHA Vice President Election is underway and runs through May 13, 2022. Ballots have been sent out by Simply Voting, NCHA’s third-party election administrator, by email and US Postal Service on April 4, 2022. You may vote either electronically or by paper ballot but not both.
Completed ballots must be received by Simply Voting NO LATER THAN MAY 13, 2022. Please note that the ballots must be received, not postmarked, by the deadline.
