Audubon Cub Scout Pack 106

The Audubon Pack was responsible for over 550 lbs of food being delivered to the food banks! My heart goes out to the families that graciously donated the food to us to give to the bank and also to the families of our pack who handed out hangers and picked up food over the last two weekends! You guys rock! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and Thank you for all you do for scouting.

Please share! Scouting for Food

https://www.gardenstatescouting.org/service/scouting-for-food/ drop off was last weekend and we are still working on it. We had only 500 door hangers and compostable bags to pass out around the town of Audubon

You can still participate even if you didn't receive a hanger, simply leave out shelf stable food this weekend 11/16, 11/17 out for pickup and let us know to come get it and we will deliver it to local food pantries and charities in the area as a service to the community. Please help us support those in need of food.

Join us for a day of "legendary" fun for every Cub Scout-aged kid!

Saturday, November 2nd, 2024

Smithville Park, 803 Smithville Rd.

Eastampton, NJ 08060

Sign up for one of two time slots! (Please note: These details may evolve as we get closer to the date!)

Morning 9 am-12 pm (check-in begins at 8:30am) or afternoon 1-4 pm (check-in begins at 12:30 pm).

Cubs and their friends will have the opportunity to compete in a variety of fun events and activities, including:

Log Roll,
Log Saw,
Log Relay,
Ox Chip Throw, and
Nail Driving.
Prizes will be awarded to the top-scoring individuals of each Cub Rank.

Participation fee for Cubs and Cub-aged youth is $6 to cover the patch, prizes, and related expenses.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

This is a Pinelands District-hosted event, but is open to ALL Cub Scouts and interested Cub-aged non-members! (Non-members must be accompanied by an adult.)

** Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews are invited to assist with program areas. There is no cost to volunteer, but you must pre-register so we know who is coming to help!

Pack is meeting tomorrow night Sunday 10/27 at 5:45 pm in the basement hall of Audubon United Methodist Church.

All are welcome to attend in Halloween costume if you'd like.

We will begin bobcat and decorate some den flags and work on den cheers. Perhaps some Halloween surprises....

The open houses were well attended but we haven't received a lot of responses to the interest form for determining the best time to meet for individual dens.

We will finalize this during the pack meeting.
