Registration is now open for the parade and house decorating contests.

We are also in search of volunteers for July 4 program book distribution (around June 20-27), house decorating judges, parade specific tasks, and for the athletic events.

We’ll have more posts and event pages up soon, but since we are starting to receive questions, we just wanted to provide a preliminary schedule for July 4th. Some details are still awaiting final confirmation. Registration for the parade and house decorating contests will open soon and will be announced on this page.

Friday July 3rd:

Fireworks Celebration
6pm - food trucks open for business (Walnut St)
7pm - live music courtesy of Uke182 and As If Music (thank you to PSE&G for making this possible!)
8pm - ceremony
Dusk (~9:15) - fireworks (thanks to the Borough of Audubon)

Saturday July 4th:

Independence Day parade
7:30 participants gather
8:15 parade start at Amherst/Paris

Reading of the Declaration of Independence
- immediately following the parade at the site of the new 250th Celebration Memorial at the Rec Center

Athletic Events - fun races for all age groups and ending in a water balloon toss (no raw eggs this year)
10:45am

Grand Opening of the Audubon Historical Society Museum
2pm-4pm at the Sr Center (intersection of Oak/Oakland)

Announcement of Parade & House Decorating contest winners
4pm at the Sr Center (come early to check out the museum!)

Celebration Committee members will be coming around to collect yard signs starting today, and continuing into tomorrow most likely. Please leave your sign and H-stand in an accessible location at the front of your house. We will be reusing these signs in the fall. Thank you!

The official Yard Sale list is now complete. We have 160 households participating (and likely a few more joining prior to 8am tomorrow)!!

You can also find this list on our website, along with a link to the Google map that you can use to navigate around town in real time.

Additionally, so far 23 homes have entered items they plan to sell on the new website, www.TownWideYardSale.com If you create an account, you can favorite particular items and addresses, but you can also use the website as a "guest."

PLEASE watch closely for stop signs and the potential for people jay walking when driving around town tomorrow. No yard sale purchase is worth an accident or injury!

In-person registration for the Townwide yards sale at the Borough of Audubon, NJ municipal building is now finished.

Anyone still wishing to register for the sale can do so online through the start of the sale on Saturday morning, however the printable version of the house list will be created on Friday afternoon.

We are officially at over 100 homes registered for this Saturday’s Townwide yard sale! The weather forecast looks very promising!!

Deadline to register:

In person at Borough Hall with cash or check: Thursday by 4pm

One week out from the yard sale we are up to 76 homes registered! We still have 33 more yard signs available for those who sign up online and request one.

Participating in the sale but haven't joined that site yet? There is still plenty of time. Your address will be in a "pending" status until your registration is confirmed, but you can start entering items right away.

A Google Map has been created for the 61 homes currently registered for our yard sale on 5/16. The map will be updated every few days and should be complete with all registrants by the time the sale begins on 5/16.

This is a map of all homes participating in the Audubon (NJ) Townwide spring yard sale for 2026. Some sellers have opted to also register at www.TownwideYardSale.com to list items and categories of items they will have for sale.

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the founding of our country, ACC has decided to bring back the traditional July 4th program book this year. The booklet is delivered to all homes in town and provides information about our parade theme, Grand Marshal, and Guests of Honor, as well as providing a full schedule of events for the holiday.

The printing cost of the booklets is funded through the sale of ads. Despite the large increase in the printing cost, we have chosen to keep the cost of ads close to what they historically were, with half page ads (3.5”x4.5”) now going for $115 and full page ads (7.5”x4.5”) going for $165. We also have a Platinum sponsorship level ($500)that includes a full page ad as well as a 6’ banner in the parade or placed at the entrance to the football field prior to the fireworks. Ads can be in black and white or full color, per your preference. Booklets are hand delivered around town to around 3,800 residents.

In full transparency, our ad sales are currently below where we hoped they would be by this point. The book will be produced regardless, but we would certainly love to break even!

The deadline to reserve an ad is May 15th, 2 weeks from today. Ideally all artwork and payments will be provided by that date as well (Please!!).
