Audubon County Hospital Foundation The Foundation consists of a seven-member board representing the urban and rural areas of the county and a Director of Development.

The Audubon County Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1994 to promote and strive for improvement of healthcare facilities and services for residents of Audubon County and the surrounding area. The board accepts gifts and conducts fundraising events. The board then utilizes funds to promote positive changes in healthcare so that present and future generations may experience improved health and greater quality of life. Above all, the Foundation supports Audubon County Memorial Hospital’s mission of excellence with quality and compassion to those we serve.

🌟 TUESDAY TRIBUTE: Heritage Insurance and Real Estate 🌟

Today, we’re giving a big THANK YOU to Heritage Insurance and Real Estate for being such a strong supporter of our local communities! ❤️

Heritage Insurance & Real Estate is the result of four trusted agencies coming together under one name, serving the communities of C**n Rapids, Jefferson, Audubon, and surrounding areas. With roots dating back to before World War II, their history is one of growth, change, and a continued commitment to the people they serve.

But their commitment to our communities goes far beyond insurance and real estate! 🤝

Heritage supports local organizations and causes, including the local theater, Cattlemen’s Association, and other community organizations. They also invest in our future by providing an annual Agricultural/Business Scholarship to help support local students as they continue their education. 🎓

And we’re especially grateful for the ways they support the Audubon County Hospital Foundation! Heritage brings teams to our Annual Golf Fundraiser, helping make the day a success, and they also contribute to our Annual Giving Initiative, helping us fund projects that benefit our hospital and community. ⛳❤️

We are incredibly thankful for businesses like Heritage that continue to give back, invest locally, and support the communities they call home.

🎉 TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT! 🎉

Tonight, our Foundation Board will choose the 2027 Annual Giving Initiative! But what does that mean?

It means that starting November 1st, our fundraising efforts will be dedicated to that project. Think about it… the Wreath Sale, our 2nd Annual Gala, the 2027 Golf Fundraiser, and everything in between will all help us make this project a reality! ❤️

So, what will the Board choose?! 👀

You’ll have to stay tuned for the announcement! We have some really great requests this year, and I’m so excited to see which project they decide to take on.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about being able to raise money for something that has the potential to make a difference; not only in our community, but in people’s lives. That’s what the Foundation is all about. 💙

Here’s to Annual Giving 2027 and another year of making a difference together! ✨

As the combines start rolling, we wanted to remind our amazing farming community that the Audubon County Hospital Foundation accepts grain donations! (Tax Deductible, even)

Donating grain is a simple way to give back and help support important projects, equipment, and initiatives at our local hospital. ❤️

So, as you're making your plans for harvest season, keep the Foundation in mind! Every donation (big or small) helps us continue making a difference right here in our community.

💙 Donor Board Update 💙

We’re busy making some much-needed updates to our donor board before we officially close out the 2026 Annual Giving on Oct 31st and start our 2027 Annual Giving on November 1st and WOW, do we have a lot of wonderful new names to add and lots of donors to move up levels!! 🥹💙

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Foundation's Director. Getting to see firsthand the good that happens because of the generosity of our donors and our community is something I truly can’t even put into words.

Every donation, every name, every act of support represents someone who believes in the health and future of our community. And we are so incredibly fortunate to have a community that continues to show up and give back. 🫶 I am so proud to be a small part of it 💙

If you’ve been thinking about making a donation to get on the board this year, there’s still time! Donations for Annual Giving 2026 are accepted through October 31st AND if you feel like waiting for the 2027 Initiative, that starts November 1st :) I've seen first hand that every donation truly makes a difference.

🍂🎄 Does this weather have you thinking about the holidays yet? Because it does me! 🎄🍂

I know, I know… it’s only September. 😂 But many of you may not realize that one of the fundraisers we look forward to the MOST every year is our Annual Holiday Wreath Fundraiser! ❤️

Our fundraiser kicks off mid-October and runs through mid-November, with wreath pickup happening toward the end of November/Beginning of December .. just in time to get your home ready for the holidays! 🎅🏼

And just LOOK at these beautiful wreaths from last year provided by The Market in Exira! 😍🎄We sold 128 BEAUTIFUL wreaths last year!

When you come to pick yours up, we make it an experience! Think Christmas music, cookies, hot c***r, beautiful wreaths, and plenty of holiday cheer. ☕🍪🎶 It’s honestly such a fun time, and we can’t wait to do it again!

So while Christmas in September might feel a little early… 😉
You’re going to want to keep an eye out for this fundraiser!

Today we’re giving a big shoutout to CDS clean duct services LLC --Clay Sornson for his generous donation to our Annual Gala this past year! 🎉

Clay donated a FREE duct cleaning to our live auction, and let’s just say… it was a popular one! We had several people bidding it up. The proceeds from this directly benefited the new Hologic Envision Mammography Unit👏

Clean Duct Services is a locally owned and operated business serving Audubon and communities throughout Southwest Iowa. Clay takes pride in providing quality service and treating every home and business with the same care and attention he would give his own.

CDS specializes in air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and related residential and commercial services. But beyond the services they provide, we appreciate Clay’s willingness to give back and support the community he calls home.

Thank you, Clean Duct Services & Clay, for helping make our gala this past year a success and for continuing to support the Audubon community! We are so grateful for local businesses like yours! 💙

In just ONE WEEK, the Foundation Board will come together to decide on our 2027 Annual Giving Initiative! 🏥💙

Once it’s chosen, our fundraising efforts throughout 2027 will go toward making that initiative a reality. And let us tell you… we are SO excited to see what’s next! 👀✨

We love what we do. We love supporting Audubon County Memorial Hospital, and most of all, we love seeing the incredible difference our community can make when we all come together. ❤️

From donations to fundraisers to every single person who supports the Foundation....we couldn’t do this without YOU!
