First HUG (Homeschoolers Under God) We are a forthrightly Christian Homeschool Support Group in the Auburndale. This is our public page. Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Our membership comes from Auburndale, Lakeland, Winter Haven, Lake Alfred, Haines City, Polk City, the area surrounding Auburndale. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Our Story

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 These verses are the foundation for our purpose! We wanted to have a Christian homeschool support group for families in the Auburndale community and beyond, so we formed First HUG. We love getting together and supporting one another in our calling as we educate, love, and encourage our children to be all that God intended for them to be!
