Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #704

We need local veterans, military families and patriotic neighbors to break out their identifiable Veterans hats and clothing and stand with us at the next Auburn School Board meeting to show our School Board members that Auburn stands behind its Heroes.

A formal proposal is being brought before the Auburn Enlarged School Board to adopt the 100% Disabled Veterans Property Tax Exemption under New York State Law (RPTL sec. 458-a 11).

Because New York State changed this exemption from mandatory law to an optional local choice, our community's most severely injured veterans rely entirely on our Auburn Enlarged School Board to step up and vote YES.

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #704 FAMILY would like to express our condolences to Jim Bryant and family, Jim's wife Judith has passed away. there will be a celebration of life on Saturday September 26, 2026 at 3pm at the United Methodist Church located at 2744 E Brutus St. Weedsport NY.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2011 attacks. As we take a moment of silence, be thankful and say a prayer for the awesome Men & Women that answered the call that day, the Police, Fire Fighters, Paramedics & the Air National Guard members who went up in the sky prepared to sacrifice there lives to save ours. To the families of the Service members that paid the ultimate price for the FREEDOM we have. Thank the service members who made it home, but we're never the same. To the first responders that have perished over the 25 years from working at Ground Zero.
