Summer Camp Programming News: The countdown to summer is on, and we are so excited for what we have planned this summer at Chewacla State Park-Alabama in partnership with TigerWings and Auburn University.

This summer, our campers won’t just participate in all the typical summer camp fun like Sports, Arts, Swimming, Nature and hands-on STEM activities — they’ll also meet the amazing businesses, innovators, and industry leaders helping show our kids what’s possible in the world around them. Through our TigerWings partnership programming, campers will explore aviation, robotics, engineering, manufacturing, fitness, technology, and more through real-world experiences and interactive learning opportunities.

We’re excited to welcome visitors and partners this summer to include the Auburn RFID Lab, Auburn University School of Aviation, Iron Tribe Auburn, Chick-fil-A, Honda, SCORE, Volcanica Coffee, AGX Siteworx, and more — all helping create unforgettable STEM experiences and exposing campers to industries and career pathways right here in our community.

BreadBoard, a startup created by Auburn University electrical engineering student Joseph Rusk that makes electronics and robotics easier and more approachable for kids and beginner learners, will also join us at camp one week. BreadBoard recently won first place and the $75,000 top prize in the 2026 Alabama Launchpad Technology Competition for its innovative hands-on STEM learning platform.

Come check out camp before the summer kicks off! 🌞 This is a great opportunity to see the location, meet your Camp Director and staff, pick up camp shirts, and get all your questions answered so you and your camper feel fully ready for an awesome summer.

Announcing Kidcam Summer Camp’s Weekly Themes for 2026!

Summer is just around the corner! We can’t wait to welcome your campers to Kidcam Summer Camp 2026. This year, we’ve designed 9 and 10 weeks of themed adventures. Our aim is to engage your child’s imagination, spark creativity, and ensure an unforgettable summer of fun. Each week is packed with activities like sports, STEM challenges, team games, creative arts, and water fun. We also have talent shows, life skills, and Kidcam traditions that campers love. The programming changes every week, making it the perfect camp experience for your child all summer long. This keeps it simple for parents while being loved by our campers.
