Help rescue Snow the dog from Kenya to Auburn, CA where she can be free from hunger, matted and painful fur, disease, attacks from larger dogs, hyenas or jackals. Her medical and flight are paid for, but she just needs her CDC Intake Kennel fee covered. ALL GIFTS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE: https://friendsoffauna.org/savesnow/

If you are in the Placer/Sacramento County area, email us at [email protected] and we will bring her to you to meet her.

Snow was abandoned in an apartment complex in rural Kenya—left behind with no one to care for her. She was about to be put out onto the street when Friends of Fauna stepped in just in time.

If she wasn’t rescued, she would have faced a short life of hunger, matted and painful fur, disease, attacks from larger dogs, and even predators like hyenas or jackals. Small dogs like her rarely survive long in those conditions, especially with her fur that keeps growing.
Since her rescue, Snow has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has completed her rabies titer test. Her airfare to the U.S. is already covered.

She is so close.

Because Kenya is a high-risk rabies country, Snow must complete a final intake process through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at LAX. This fee—at one of only two approved CDC intake kennels—is the last step to bring her to safety.
Please help bring Snow home.

✈️ ASHE OLENG (which means “thank you very much” in Maasai) to Captain Raines for donating 1 ton of dry food — enough to feed 500–600 people in rural Kenya! Because of his generosity, smiles were nonstop and stomachs are full. At Friends of Fauna, we have no overhead costs which allow us to provide locally sourced dry food for just 15¢-20¢ per pound, and once cooked, it doubles in weight — stretching every donation further. This video shows our 1 ton food delivery to Endoinyo Narasha, where we had approximately 50 women, each from a different household, arrive to accept and carry home many kilograms of food to the 10-15+ hungry people waiting at their homes. THANK YOU CAPTAIN!
