Last week, Skills Inc. celebrated an incredible milestone—our 60th Anniversary!

For six decades, we have been creating opportunities for people with disabilities through meaningful employment, workforce development, and community leadership. What began in 1966 has grown into an organization that empowers hundreds of individuals each year while strengthening our local aerospace industry and community.

The celebration brought together employees, members of our Board of Directors, customers, partners, community leaders, and longtime supporters to reflect on our journey and the impact we've made together. We were honored to hear inspiring remarks from Auburn Mayor Nancy Backus, Boeing's Michael Potter, Heather Thureson of Zenix Aerospace, Dave Trader of Pathfinder Manufacturing, Skills Inc. Board Chair Melanie Jordan, and CEO Charlie Frampton. We were also proud to recognize former CEO Todd Dunnington for his 21 years of exceptional leadership and the lasting impact he has had on our organization.

As we reflected on the past, we were reminded that our greatest accomplishments have always been made possible by the people who believe in our mission. To everyone who has been part of the Skills story over the past 60 years—employees, customers, partners, donors, and supporters—thank you. Your dedication, partnership, and belief in our mission have helped shape who we are today.

Here's to the next 60 years of creating opportunities, building meaningful careers, and changing lives.
