“Hi Project Uplift Family!!!
I wanted to share a sweet life update that will definitely bring some smiles!
Me and my best friend, Grace Money, joined project uplift fall of 2019, during our freshman year of college, where we met Harmoni. She was a shy, sweet, and fun 8-year old girl. That blossomed into having her sister, Holli, join us on our adventures once she turned 5. Her youngest sister, Haiden, who was 2 months old when we first met their family, felt like a sister, too, even when she was too young to join in on our official Project Uplift hangouts.
Flash forward to a few weekends ago, Grace was the Maid of Honor in my wedding. Harmoni joined our wedding party as a junior bridesmaid, and Holli and Haiden were our flower girls. It’s so hard to believe that almost 7 years later, here we are. The true sisterhood that was born in the fall of 2019 through this program is one of my biggest blessings in my life.
I wanted to say THANK YOU for all of the work you all put in everyday and for giving us a place to connect with the younger generation of Auburn’s community.
