What does Head Start look like in Placer and Nevada County?

It looks like empowering children and their families to maximize their full potential through opportunities for growth and change. We are guided by a Reggio Emilia inspired approach to teaching, learning and reflection that promotes family engagement in children’s development, the program and the community. We promote healthy eating and serve organic foods grown in community gardens.

This Head Start Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the many ways KidZCommunity partners with children and families to help them thrive.

That is the power of Head Start, and we’re proud to be part of it.
