In less than 3 weeks, we get to celebrate with you.
This is our first fundraiser as a 501(c)(3).
Mitch has been doing or emcee-ing these for years. Me? My first one.
The event details feel familiar. The prep, planning, the last minute scrambling.
What doesn’t feel the same is the responsibility. The stakes feel higher.
Supporting leaders is already a privilege and a responsibility. Starting something from scratch and asking people to believe in the vision with you?
That’s vulnerable.
There are no guarantees. No promise that it all works out. No certainty that people will see what you see or believe what you believe.
Here’s what I do know.
The leaders who have invested in development with us aren’t doing it for us. They’re doing it for themselves. They’re choosing to become better communicators, stronger leaders, more resilient humans and that takes courage.
So even if this fundraiser wasn’t successful, we’d still be doing the work. Because Mitch and I believe in people. And sometimes leadership can be lonely. And everyone deserves opportunities to connect, feel seen and grow.
In 2025, through our pilot programming, we worked with more than 200 first responders and leaders.
That’s 200 people who chose to invest in themselves.
200 people who are a little braver, a little more self aware and a little more capable of showing up for the people who count on them.
And that ripples into families, workplaces, organizations and communities.
That’s why we do this. Because none of us are doing life alone.
Join us on a Monday night. Come have some fun, meet our leadership family and learn more about the mission and where we’re headed.
And hopefully someone brings a cowbell…
Cheers! 🔔🎸❤️
