Opelika Chamber of Commerce DOwn South Cancer Foundation (DSCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical financial assistance, compassionate support, and educational resources to individuals and families affected by cancer in our local community. Founded on the belief that no one should face cancer alone or unaided, DSCF works to ease the financial burdens that often accompany a cancer diagnosis—from transportation and lodging to treatment-related expenses. Through community-driven initiatives, fundraising events, and strategic partnerships, DSCF empowers patients to focus on healing while ensuring they receive the support and dignity they deserve.

This one means a little more to us💗
Two years ago, Kent McCown Group became involved with Dare 2 Tutu. What started as a fun way to support an incredible cause has organically grown into something closer to home. And that’s how the Tutu Trot was born.
On October 17, we’re bringing our community together at Town Creek Park for the Tutu Trot 5K & Fun Run, with proceeds benefiting the DOwnsouth Cancer Foundation.
Yes, there will be tutus. There will be running. There will probably be some ridiculous pictures 😂
But underneath all of that is a really simple goal: have a great time while doing something good for people in our own community.
We would LOVE for you to be part of the very first Tutu Trot.
