We had a successful United Campus Workers blitz week in April, during which we talked to people all around campus, tabled on Haley Concourse, and delivered our living wage petition to Samford Hall.

Shortly after our petition delivery, we again reached out to President Roberts and CFO Shomaker asking them to have a conversation with us about our petition demands, and are still waiting to hear back.

Please join us to help keep the pressure on and let Auburn administrators know: “WE DESERVE TO BE PAID A LIVING WAGE!”

ATTENTION: CALL TO ACTION!! Our living wage petition was exceeded our goal of 500 signatures. We are having a rally and delivering our petition for living wages for all Auburn employees, including increased graduate student stipends, on

Wednesday, 4/9, at 10:30 AM on Toomers Corner.

Please wear UCW or red shirts, if you can.. We’d really appreciate a show of solidarity and support however y’all are able. I’ve attached a press release with more information and a link to the petition. Feel free to reach out any time if you’d like to talk more about it!

Be sure to join us at our semerster-ly General Assembly meeting this Thursday on campus! It's a great opportunity for non-members to learn more about UCW, and both members and non-members alike get free food!

We'll end the meeting with a showing of the film Norma Rae, which was filmed right here in Opelika!

Accessibility information: Well Red has two entrances both of which are wheelchair accessible. It has parking at the location as well.
