SCOTTISH RITE DEGREES ON FRIDAY JUNE 14TH

The Scottish Rite Valley of the Androscoggin will be conferring two degrees on Friday June 14th following a 6:00 pm supper. The degrees will be the Fourth and the Eighteenth.

THE 4TH DEGREE - THE BUILDER

STORYLINE - The 4th degree represents a Master Mason’s first steps on his Scottish Rite journey. In this degree, a Master Mason seeks divine guidance, and we learn to honor our relationships with God, family, country, and Freemasonry.

PHILOSOPHY - Brothers grow together in Scottish Rite.

CORE VALUES - Reverence for God, Integrity & Service to Humanity

THE 18TH DEGREE- HNIGHT OF ROSE CROIX

STORYLINE - The 18th degree uses the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth to exemplify the universal principles of life and urge us to be tolerant of others. This degree uses the symbol of the rose cross; the rose signifies dawn and the cross is a sacred symbol of antiquity.

PHILOSOPHY - The Book of Life is opened. The new law is a law of love, which all men everywhere may understand and practice.

CORE VALUE – Integrity

All members are encouraged to join in the dinner and share in the brotherhood to witness the degrees.

Brethren - due to a few key cast members coming down with COVID, we have cancelled both the Thursday Night at the Rite viewings on Thursday February 1 and the Lodge of Perfection degrees scheduled for Friday, February 2.
