Do you know why we extend the Eye Patch Challenge into June? It’s really for two reasons.

1. June is Cancer Survivor Month so it is a great time to celebrate those who are surviving and thriving in the midst of their cancer journey. We can continue to raise awareness about this rare cancer, about dilated eye exams, and about helping be a resource for the OM community.

2. I call the month of May…”Maycember.” It’s jam packed with holidays, celebrations, graduations, end of school EVERYTHING! And it is expensive.

If you could not contribute financially to the in May, there is still time. The EPC is open till June 15.

Help the on Grace Foundation exceed our goal! We are sooooo close.

This will help people with OM travel for treatment and help raise money for reach.

It is truly amazing to see the OM community, industry partners, physician groups, and people across America who recently heard about the Eye on Grace Foundation support our mission through the Eye Patch Challenge.

Our goal this year is to raise $150,000 and have matching funds of $100,000 and hopefully reach and exceed $250,000.

75% of the funds raised will go to help people with OM travel for treatment.

25% of the funds raised will go to research.

Did you know you can stipulate how much of your donation goes to travel and how much goes to research? We will honor each request.

The challenge continues until June 15th and we hope you will join us in changing the landscape of how Ocular Melanoma is treated.
Every dollar makes a difference.

Together we can fuel hope, fund travel, and fight Ocular Melanoma.

One of the hardest parts of an Ocular Melanoma diagnosis can be feeling alone. The good news is… you are NOT alone. 💙
There are several wonderful support groups available for OM patients and caregivers where you can connect with others who truly understand this rare cancer journey.
✨ A Cure In Sight Ocular Melanoma offers a weekly Zoom support group every Tuesday night at 7 PM EST. This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and find encouragement from others in the OM community.
You can find the Zoom link on their website or page:
acureinsight.org
✨ CURE Ocular Melanoma through the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) also offers monthly online support groups:
🔹 First Wednesday of each month
1:00–2:00 PM ET / 10:00–11:00 AM PST
This group is offered in partnership with the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson and is facilitated by Molly Vocino, MSW, LCSW, a licensed clinical oncology social worker. The discussion centers on the metastatic ocular melanoma experience.
🔹 Fourth Thursday of each month
7:00–8:00 PM EST / 4:00–5:00 PM PST
This evening group is facilitated by Caroline Glavin, MSW, Education Program Manager for the MRF, and is open to all ocular melanoma patients and caregivers.

Please remember… support matters. Connection matters. And no one should walk this journey alone. 💙

At the Eye on Grace Foundation, we believe that healing and hope are stronger when no one has to face cancer alone. 💙

That’s why we don’t just help Ocular Melanoma patients travel for life-saving treatment — we also help provide travel support for a caregiver to go with them. Whether it’s a spouse, parent, child, or friend, having someone by your side during treatment brings comfort, strength, and encouragement during some of the hardest days.
