Since 1995, the Auburn Chamber and Auburn University Athletics have joined together with the Auburn community to honor Auburn’s outstanding athletes, coaches and administrators. Every year a new class of honorees is inducted into the Tiger Trail during the Tiger Trail induction ceremony. Each inductee is presented with an engraved granite plaque to be placed in the sidewalk of downtown Auburn amon

g the plaques honoring other Auburn greats. Over one hundred of Auburn’s athletic elite are now part of the Tiger Trail. A new class of legends has officially taken its place on the Tiger Trail of Auburn. 🐅

On April 18, the Auburn Chamber, in partnership with Auburn University Athletics and the City of Auburn, proudly inducted the 2026 Tiger Trail honorees at the Auburn Athletics Complex. This year’s class includes four individuals whose achievements have left a lasting mark on Auburn Athletics and beyond. 🧡💙

Danielle Downey | Women’s Golf, 1999–2003
Tyler McGill | Men’s Swimming, 2006–2010
Benji Roland | Football, 1985–1988
Coach Ralph Spry | Men’s & Women’s Track and Field, 1997–2022

Each inductee will be recognized with a permanent plaque in downtown Auburn, joining a distinguished legacy of those who have shaped Auburn’s rich athletic tradition.
