BOCCE UPDATE: Due to a recent increase in interest over the past few days, we are delaying the start of our Bocce season one week, and will now start on Thursday, June 11. We will post updates on Facebook and on our website at www.CayugaCountyCIAO.org/bocce.

Cayuga County CIAO is the cultural Italian American Organization located in Auburn, New York, formed to promote and enhance Italian-American heritage and culture. CIAO's mission is to support culture and charity and to recognize Italian American achievements in our community.

Ciao a Tutti everyone!!

C.I.A.O's next fried dough (pizza fritte) stand will be held at the Port Byron's Erie Canal Musuem archives (the Old St. John Church).

Time- Saturday June 6th. We will be from 11am to 3pm or till sold out.

Price- 1 four $4 or 3 for $10

Address/Location- 36 Rochester Street, Port Byron New York.
It is now called the Samuel Center for Canal History in Port Byron, New York. It was the site of the Old St. John's Church.

CIAO will be selling our traditional Pizza Fritte (fried dough) today at the Knights of Columbus,
On Market Street in Auburn, New York.

Time- about 10am to about 2pm or when sold out.

Where- In front of Knights of Columbus on Market Street in Auburn, New York.

Price- 1 for $4 or 3 for $10

CIAO will once again organize a Bocce League for the 2026 summer season! This co-ed recreational activity will be played at the Owasco Town Pavilion bocce courts on Owasco Road in Auburn.

Games will be held on Thursdays beginning at 6:00 PM, starting Thursday, June 4, and continuing through July 30, with playoffs the following week. Teams will consist of 4 players, and the season will conclude with a banquet dinner.

A meeting will be held prior to the start of league play to review scoring, rules, and player roles.

CIAO "The Cultural Italian American Organization " will open their season with making the Pizza Fritte, fry-dough- for the benefit of St Francis of Assisi Church, on Saturday, May 16, 2026 .The CIAO group will begin to make and serve their traditional Pizza Fritte, from 11:00 am till 3pm or till sold out.

This will be a drive thru take out service, and those who wish to get these old fashioned traditional pizza fritte, are able to drive and pick up in the parking lot of the church on Clark St,. exiting thru the driveway.
