We had a great turnout at this morning's PCN Networking Mixer at the Maidu Community Center! Thank you to everyone who came out, made new connections, and brought such great energy to the room. We were thrilled to have 50 organizations represented, with so many new faces joining us alongside familiar partners. 🙌🤝

We are grateful to be part of these important conversations through the Placer Collaborative Network Health Planning Workgroup. As our communities and health providers navigate changes in healthcare access and coverage, collaboration across sectors will be critical to ensuring Placer County residents continue to receive the support they need.

Today, leaders from healthcare, public health, philanthropy, social services, and community organizations came together through the Placer Collaborative Network Health Planning Workgroup.

As our community prepares for significant changes in healthcare coverage and access, it was encouraging to see so many organizations committed to working together rather than in isolation. The challenges ahead are complex, but today's meeting reinforced something important: Placer County is fortunate to have leaders who care deeply about our residents and are willing to roll up their sleeves to meet the moment.

Grateful for the thoughtful conversation, genuine collaboration, and solution-oriented spirit around the table.

Yesterday, Placer Collaborative Network members came together for a powerful training on meeting facilitation and group decision making. 🤝

Our County Health and Human Services staff and nonprofit partners dove into skills that make a real difference:
✅ Effective & reflective listening
✅ Group decision-making strategies
✅ How to show up as a strong facilitator

The core message? Meetings cost time and resources — so let's make every one count. When we show up prepared, listen deeply, and facilitate with intention, we move our shared mission forward faster and more effectively.

Thank you to our trainer and to all the dedicated PCN members who invested their time yesterday. The communities we serve are better for it.
