The Kiwanis Club of Auburn loves serving our community and making people happy. Before Thanksgiving, we joined Rotary, Lions, and Soroptimists to serve a Thanksgiving dinner to 150 seniors at the Auburn Senior Center. We get the joy of doing that again before Christmas. Serving others is what Kiwanis is about.

We also make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Ray of Hope in Auburn on the fourth Wednesday of the month. We make 90 sandwiches plus providing food for houseless people in our community.

Our meeting schedules are kind of wacky with the holidays, but we usually meet at the Rainbow Café at noon on Wednesday. Come join us and see what we’re about.

We're getting excited! Join the Auburn Symphony Orchestra as guest speakers for the Kiwanis Speaker Series this Thursday at the Postmark, ahead of the Colors of Sound chamber concert on Saturday, November 22 at 7pm at the Postmark Center for the Arts.

From A*O: "Hear an inside look at our musicians, our work in the community, and what inspires the music we bring to the stage. We will also share highlights from the upcoming program, including the misty drama of Philip Wharton’s Hussite Fantasy, the rhythmic fire of Eleanor Alberga’s quartet, and the rich warmth of Schubert’s C Major Quintet.

It is an easy and welcoming introduction to the Auburn Symphony and to the colorful music waiting for you on concert night. Perfect for newcomers as well as longtime listeners."

The Kiwanis Club of Auburn will be hosting a speaker series here at Postmark Center for the Arts! Each month will feature a different speaker associated with Kiwanis, including cultural leaders and representatives of local organizations from Auburn's community.

Leaders from Auburn’s Rotary, Lions, Soroptimist, and Kiwanis clubs will share why people get more than they give in a service club, highlighting the personal rewards of membership. They’ll discuss their projects, areas of focus, and the vital role these clubs play in Auburn’s culture and community.
